The West Lake Trails and East Lake Trails, have opened along the northern shore of Spirit Lake. The trails afford splendid views of the lake and surrounding areas. You can also discover awesome beauty at every turn of the International Selkirk Loop, a 450 km / 280-mile scenic drive encircling the spectacular Selkirk Mountains. Spirit Lake

By the name of the town, you can guess that it revolves around the lake! Spirit Lake is glacier dug and has a surface area of 1,445 acres and 12 miles of shoreline. In the summertime, the lake is perfect for swimming, kayaking, boating, and spending time with family and friends.

The Town

In 1910 when the town opened to real estate homes were built, businesses, and utilities were quickly built. Spirit Lake is a great lake to be either summer or full-time residents. While it's a small town, it holds a lot of charm and close community.
